Founded by Dato Herman Chin in 2008, Mega Events Sdn Bhd is a leading event organiser of large events and festivals in the country. With a passion for organising large events and festivals, the founder positioned and established Mega Events as a company geared to build a good repertoire of clientele and events portfolio, managing international events in Malaysia. |
| Providing integrated solutions from event planning, design, communications to execution and timely implementation of deliverables, Mega Events is inspired to with a goal of always successfully organising memorable quality world-class events with objectives achieved and results met. The Putrajaya International Dragon Boat Festival 2009 and the 1Malaysia International Dragon Boat Festival 2010 was organized and managed by Mega Events Sdn Bhd, including the upcoming inaugural 1st INTERNATIONAL DRAGON BOAT FEDERATION (IDBF) CANCER SURVIVORS WORLD CUP 2011 held in conjunction with MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL (MIDBF) will be held at the Putrajaya Water Sports Complex from 20th to 23rd October 2011 with over 2000 international participants expected from all over the world. To make Malaysia as the home of international dragon boat festivals in Asia, these festivals are organised by Mega Events in collaboration with W.P. Putrajaya Dragon Boat Association (WPPDBA), Perbadanan Putrajaya (PPJ), Ministry of Youth & Sports, Ministry of Federal Territories & Urban Wellbeing, Ministry of Tourism, and in affiliation with the International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF). |
