THE 1st PUTRAJAYA INTERNATIONAL DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL, 2009
As the name implies, the 1st PUTRAJAYA INTERNATONAL DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL, 2009 MALAYSIA was the very first event held at Putrajaya, Malaysia. The event was hosted for 3 days from 5 to 7th June 2009 at Precinct 6, Putrajaya Water Sports Complex, Putrajaya.
Mega Events Sdn Berhad (MESB) - an event management company is the main organizer for the International Dragon Boat Festival. The primary sponsor for the international event is Ministry of Tourism, Malaysia and the festival was made possible with the collaboration of Perbadanan Putrajaya (PPj), Ministry of Information, Communication & Culture (MICC), Penang Dragon Boat Association (PDBA) and other Government bodies/ agencies.
Accordingly, the 3 day event was a success and the achievement of the international event was due to the diligent, dedication, teamwork, collaboration and cooperation from various Government Ministries/ Agencies, Corporations, Associations, MESB management team and with the affiliation and support of:
